Boy is my face red. I have received tons of electronic mail in response to
my tasteless and cavalier use of the word rape in my last blog, although I
did receive a few positive responses (mostly from our brave young men
in the armed forces). I am only thankful that I did not print the joke "So was
it a date rape or a date DATE rape?"
I hope America will accept my sincerest apologies and forgive me. For once I must disagree with the policies of our military and say that rape is wrong and I was wrong to type the words. And to all the young and impressionable youth out there I would say this:
ignore those Nike ads and DON'T DO IT!
