They say that Bush was elected by a right wing Christian Fundamentalist base
which, frankly, scares the Devil out of me.
They're like the Taliban if the Taliban baked cookies instead of spending all day praying and blowing people up. And if you've ever had a political argument with a fundamentalist
right wing Christian extremist you just know they would LOVE to blow things up.
Some of them probably want to blow me up just for saying that. But Christians are so steeped in denial about their anger that it comes out at the most inappropriate times, like when they're VOTING.
You should never vote when you're angry. Take a deep breath, count to ten (if you can)
and make an informative decision. I think it goes without saying that I'm no fan
of Muslim fundamentalists either but at least they don't vote.
But it seems that George Bush is trying to change all that by bringing democracy to the Middle East. Good idea. We see how well it works keeping religious fundamentalists out of OUR government. Best of luck with that George. And keep blowing things up. I think the Christians are winning on that front like 40 to one at last count.
